The Decemberists Meet Max Fisher

I thought this was a cool video, if you're familiar with Rushmore. "16 Military Wives" is a song about U.S. military dominance in foreign affairs, and to be witty, the band decided to reference the film - as we all know, politicians never really grow out of that high school debate club vice-president mentality. They got the look of the film down pretty well, I'd say. There's several things in class related to this, like synergy, the diversity of independent music, hegemony, etc.
