1. Repo! The Genetic Opera

3. The official site for Repo! The Genetic Opera is http://www.repo-opera.com/
The site is really kewl because it actually let's the viewer get into the world of Repo! The site contains clips of the film but also, and more notably, it contains character bios, place descriptions, and behind the scenes footage. Also the site contains chat rooms and a bulletin board for announcements and Q&A. The site also contains art work and promo materials for movie. There is also a place where you can view material from the original stage play and go through the process of creating Repo!
4. We found a ton of additional material on this film. For example, the Rotten Tomatoes Critical Reviews for the film. Here is a Glowing Review of the film. The website IGN has some info. It claims to have wallpaper, but upon closer inspection, we did not see any. But, we did find some upon Googling wallpapers for this movie, and a single wallpaper can be found at PosterGeek. A search on Amazon for anything related to Repo! only turned up the soundtrack. But, upon going to the Repo official website, we did find that they have merchandise on sale at CafePress, which includes: clothing, stickers, posters (in various sizes), tote bags, magnets, and buttons. We were even able to find message boards (though, a dry search of "Repo the genetic opera message board" only revealed the Yahoo Message Board for this movie. Information about Repo: the Genetic opera is fairly easy to find if you actually have exposure to the film. there are sites with lists of the entire cast [which is pretty extensive] on sites such as IMDB.com and The Bside. There is even a blogging site devoted to the film which is further evidence of it being a potiential cult film.
5. We checked on µTorrent to see if this movie was available anywhere. The only torrent that we found was for the Soundtrack on Mininova. We checked again by typing "Repo the Genetic Opera torrents" into Google and found that there are some pirated versions of the movies available. At least that's what they looked like. However, upon checking Bittorrent, you cannot actually download the movie. We found an article that stated that Darren Lynn Boseman was targetting BitTorrent in specific in order to stop pirating. Of course, the movie has not been released yet, so that could an answer as to why this is so.
This movie will open 7th November in a limited number of cities and will come on DVD in January.

I have never heard of this movie, the moment I watched the trailor for it I did not find it appealing to the least bit. Maybe it is just my sense of taste in movies, but this movie just seemed rather akward. I probably will not watch this movie in theatres or on dvd at all. I would probably only watch this movie if somebody told me that it was good. Other than that, I don't see myself watching the movie at all any time soon.
