an online community where 36,303,636 music fans create and share music playlists
and counting...

Playlist.com provides services for all music lovers and it is very simple to use. This site is not an internet radio, it is a site solely dedicated to all kinds of music fans to create and share music playlists. Up to 200 songs can be added on a single playlist and the best part of all is that this music site is FREE!

This site is easy as One, Two, Three. First the user must create an account simply by creating a username, using their email and a password to enter the site and to create a playlist. After the user has created an account, all the user has to do is either enter the name of the song, the album, the artist or the genre in search. As a group we believe that the best feature to this site is fact that YOU are the creator. No one chooses what you should listen to, it is a 100% up to the user what music is played. Or you can choose other people's playlist and listen to thier songs of choice. Either way, YOU are the ultimate DJ.

There are no stations, simply music for free and a user friendly site.

It is easy to see that the site makes money by having advertisements. Usually it is a featured artist of the week or contests to win trips. Another way Playlist.com makes a profit is by selling ring tones to their users. Since this is not an internet radio site, there are no types of advertisement in between songs. No music is for sell and there is no paid subscription service for using the site.

This music site offers just about every type of genre available. It does not offer celebrity playlist, but it does offer popular users' playlist. From there anyone can listen or choose songs from that playlist.

What is particularly unique about this hot spot for music, is that it is an interactive community website. Everyone can choose to share their favorite songs. Plus it is very easy to share on 11 different websites. For instance: Myspace.com, hi5, Blogger, and Facebook. Not only is Playlist.com user friendly it is also site friendly. As stated before, as a group, we believe that the best feature of this music site is that its is YOUR music. Whatever you want; Whenever you want.

I've used project playlist a couple of times within the past few months. I typically create a playlist, then embed it into my myspace, to be displayed on my profile. The only thing i don't like is occasionally the songs will take a really long time to load. Other than that, i really like this site and will continue to frequent it when my page needs some new music.

I use this site on my myspace page. You can get a pretty big playlist going and its all free. the only problem i have found with the player when you embed is that it messes with the html coding on my page and sometimes if the song location has been tampered with it wont play the song. it can find a very extensive list of songs. it is an awesome site.

I use playlist.com as my main source for online radio. I love the variety of music and the fact that pretty much any song you want to hear, they have. The only downside is that they get there songs from other websites, so if the website takes off one of the songs you choose, the song will not work anymore on your playlist. But other than that, I love this site. I used it to post music both on myspace and facebook. It's really convenient.

I use project playlist on my myspace because I can have an endless amount of songs. I can pretty much find anything on there. Like everyone siad, the only down side is that if the song is removed from the hosting site, it will no longer play on your list.
