Twilight

Katie McDonough

Megan McDougall

Joseph Medina

Grady McGee

In the trailer and poster for Twilight, none of the actor's names are mentioned, nor is the director's; all the focus is on the Twilight brand name, and proving to the fans that the film will be faithful to the book by Stephanie Meyer. The audience that the film is targeting is young woman. It portrays the main female character as young, helpless, and in need of a hero. There are not significant differences in the poster and the trailer. The trailer just give more of the movie to the audience rather than the poster just sells the the romance between the two main charaters.

On the official site, it has a countdown clock to when the movie is going to be released. It also has a plot over view of the book. There are hyperlinks to different places on the website where you can find out more about the cast and the production of the movie. There are trailers of the movie on the website and a place where you can buy the actual sound track of the movie. We also found a fansite of the movie. The Pirate Bay, one download website, does not have Twilight yet.

Hell ya I would see this movie. It looks good and I love stories about vampires. In it doesn’t look like all the other vampires movies. But I think in order to get the full affect of the movie I would have to see it in theatre otherwise the sound would not be the same.

I'm not that big on vampire flicks. I think the last one I saw was Buffy and the only reason why I thought it was a cool at the time was because my sister watched it. However, this movie does look somewhat interesting, so I might rent it when it comes to DVD, legally.
