1. On Hulu.com we found that it offers the whole episodes and other suggestions for shows you might like underneath the clips. We saw that you can also choose whether to watch just a clip of a full episode. Underneath along with the other shows are other episodes from the same series and lists the show details beneath that. Every spot where you can tell there was a commercial break, they only put one commercial in the spot. The commercials are short ten second clips, rather than having long commercials we typically see on television.
We saw that you can turn the clips full screen or soften the light given off by the site so its completely dark. Also anybody can comment on the clips and episodes and read the other users comments. Hulu does have hi resolution options available for watching the clips. The website allows you to embed and share the episode and clips with others if chosen too go with that option.
Hulu is well put together website, which is highly organized and is to find things. Columns seperate everything so you can find things much easier. It is very simple to find what you are looking for and just from what we saw it looks like everything posted is done by the network.
2. We couldn't find any full length episodes on YouTube, but we could find previews of shows like House and Prison Break on the FOX channel. So it was very difficult for all of us to find a full length episode on YouTube. The only time we noticed to watching a full length episode was when a user posted it in clips. You can piece it all together with the clips for in all to watch a full length episode. When we looked up a Simpsons episode, it was by users but the one we happened to watch was done by a user namedHuluDOTcom. We went to his profile and it was pretty much a giant advertisement forHulu.com. YouTube is pretty much a fan based website, where fans put up clips of anything and everything they want.
They do not post ads during the clips but the site does have ads around the clips. You can post comments at the bottom and they have similiar clips they suggest along the right side of the screen. We noticed that on YouTube you can change the size of the clip you are watching and share it with somebody. Other than that you can rate it right along with commenting on the clip watched.
We found that YouTube is very cluttered and disorganized. If you type something in the search engine, you come up with a list of items. Other than that everything is so scattered and looks like there wasn't much time and effort put into organizing this website.
3. We found hulu to be a better site for tv shows and full length episodes. Hulu is more well put together and organized than YouTube is. However, Hulu's downfall is that it does not allow users to post clips of their own.
If you like previews and funny homemade videos, then YouTube is the site to be visiting. YouTube could stand becoming more like hulu if they could somehow get more tv shows on the their site. As we said before, YouTube is definetaly a fan site and place to be if your a fan. YouTube on the other hand is very unorganized which can turn networks away. YouTube becoming more like Hulu is definately a good thing for YouTube because they can make more money and fans can watch full length episodes. This could become a bad thing as well because viewers won't be able to post the videos that fans highly enjoy doing so much.

I chose to watch the episode of the simpsons on Hulu, at the beginning of the episode it had an advertisement then a commercial, though I really didn't want to watch the advertisement it didn't bother me too much due to the fact that its not that different from when I watch the episodes on television. I did like that I could watch it on my computer and that it was a full episode unlike the clips on YouTube. I am now addicted to Hulu!!
