T.V. time

I really don't watch that much t.v. on a regular basis, because of school and work. But this was not a typical day because I actually scheduled time to watch t.v. today. Today was defiantly more t.v. than I usually watch. The only time I really watch more than an hour of t.v. is on Sundays whenever football games are on. Im not a regular viewer of any shows, but I really enjoy watching John and Kate plus eight and what not to wear. I did watch the king of queens, which I never watch, but did because of this assignment. The only thing that I did miss that I wish I cold have watched more of was the Texas and Tech game on Saturday night. I don't record shows to watch at a later time. I don't really have time to, and I don't have tivo.

I didn't watch any t.v. shows that were on hulu.com or nbc.com. I didn't watch any t.v. at friends house whenever I was recording my t.v. watching time. I did watch 27 dresses on this afternoon. My mom was watching the movie with me. I was watching the football game with alot of friends, and I was watching John and Kate plus eight and what not to wear by myself today.

I kinda like that process of writing down what I watch. In high school, I probably would have filled up all the time slots between four o clock and eleven, but its interesting to see how little t.v. I watch because of how busy school keeps me. I didn't change channels at all. I watch alot less t.v. than I thought i did. I knew that I didn't watch alot, but I didn;t realize that t.v. wasn't a huge part of my life until I did this assignment. I think that if people are honest about how long they are watching t.v., I think that journaling like this could be very beneficial for keeping tack of ratings.
