MY TV DAY

Mashari Hogan 11/3/2008

Today was a quite interesting in which I watched way more TV than usual, I don’t know if it had anything to do with me being a procrastinator in moving or just because of this assignment ( I definitely think it was the procrastination.) In the midst of things I had my eyes glued to Trading Spouses on CMT, it was some sort of marathon I’m guessing because it definitely caused me not to get my work done. Each episode is about two hours long so I feel as if they know exactly how to tie you in. After my wile with Trading Spouses I switched over to the Discovery Channel and watched The Haunting which is usually a everyday occurrence. My friend and I usually meet up with each other and watch it together for some sort of reason, it’s not even that interesting. I do wish I could get more of Oprah in my week, I’m always so sad I miss her now that I don’t have DVR anymore.
I’m not a huge computer person so I really don’t know how to watch shows online, but I would really love for someone to teach me. Every Monday night my friend and I get together to watch True Blood and Entourage on HBO that he recorded the night before so I did count that as something I watched with a friend and their house. As for my home, I would have to say everything is usually watched alone except for The Haunting, but that is usually done over the phone.
Keeping track of the TV show wasn’t too hard I guess, every once in a while I will switch the channel but usually I am fixated with what I’m watching. In logging I did find that I watch way more TV than I thought. I always feel like I don’t watch a lot but it is because I only watch one show for a long time and that’s where it gets me. I like the amount of television I watch, I think its not too much not too less, the healthy amount. There are a ton of TV shows people speak of that I totally wish I could catch a hold of but I usually don’t know the channel or time they come on so I miss it. Journals are interesting, if you think of it in a kind of perspective it kind of tells someone what kind of person you are in what you watch and when you watch it.
