Whats on tonight?

3. Sunday is typically the only day that I watch "a lot" of TV. I saw the Cowboy's game and the Da Vinci Code, however since I only watch the game, i spent was more time in front of the TV to watch the movie. I did not watch any regular shows, but I do have shows that I like to see, although, I am never home to see them, so I watch them on the internet. The shows that I like to see are America's Next Top Model, John and Kate Plus 8, and the Daily Show (besides local news). No I did not see shows that I had never watched before and no I did not miss any shows that I normally watch; as I stated before I watch the episodes I want to watch on the internet on my on time. No, I did not record any shows because I do not have DVR.

4. No I did not watch any shows on the internet. I was busy working on homework. And practically all of my friends live in town so no I did not watch any TV at a friends house. Sunday is my family's day to spend time together and watch the game. I did not go to a restaurant nor did I watch a dvd on Sunday. During the Cowboys game my entire family (Mom, Dad, Jr, Lupita, Jose, my finance and I) were watching and hanging our heads in shame. However my parents went to bed and my brothers and my sister-in-law went home while my fiance and I watched TNT.

5. I had done something quite similar to this in high school and i already write down my eating habits while I am sick, so keeping track of this was not new to me. I don't often watch TV any more but when I did, I do remember flipping through the channels quite a bit. As I expected I dont watch to much TV. I prefer to have music playing while I am working but as I stated, we were both interested in the movie. As for people keeping track of what they watch, I think it is reliable because why would anyone lie about what they see on television. There is no point in lying and broadcasting systems want to know which shows are successful according to ratings.

Over all I realized that I do watch more TV than I realized, however I watch MOVIES. I do like TV shows but as I said before they are only on at a certain time and I usually miss them because of school or work. Therefore, TNT, TBS, Comedy Central and USA are the stations of my choice for movies (especially since I do not have DVR).

Time is an issue when it comes to me watching television and the selected shows I want to watch, but when I was younger, I would allow TV to get in the way of my work and study habits. So to break of that bad habit, I used to give up TV during the Lenten season. After Lent was over, I realized that TV was not that important and I could live without it. Although it does give a nice break from the everyday ritual of waking up, getting dressed, going to work, come home, and sleeping, it is a good escape but it can be addicting.
